Séquence Extended Play – SLY & the FAMILY STONE
Sly & the Family Stone, pionniers funk des sixties
Formé en 1966 à San Francisco par Sly Stone (Sylvester Stewart, né le 15 mars 1943 et décdé il y a juste un an), ce groupe révolutionnaire fusionne rock, soul et funk avec Dance to the Music (1968) et Stand! (1969). De Everyday People à There’s a Riot Goin’ On (1971), leur influence sur le funk et le rock moderne reste inégalée.
